Website chat that quotes standard jobs and books them

What it does

For standard, priced services (recurring cleaning, lawn care, pest control, gutter cleaning, pressure washing), a website chat assistant asks the questions needed to price the job (home size, frequency, add-ons), gives a price range from the company's actual rate card, and books into the schedule.

Tools used

  • GoHighLevel Conversation AI, Tidio Lyro or Intercom Fin (chat)
  • Jobber or Housecall Pro (online booking / requests)
  • Zapier
  • Google Sheets (rate card)

Expected outcome · Typical goal

Typical goal: visitors who want a price at 10 PM get a real answer and a booking, instead of a 'request a quote' form they forget about.

Setup notes

  1. Price only from a rate card the owner signs off on. Quote ranges, and say final price is confirmed on site.
  2. Capture contact info early in the chat so drop-offs can be followed up.
  3. Check the service area by zip. The Charlotte metro crosses two states and several counties, and many companies don't serve all of it.
  4. Review chat logs weekly for questions the bot couldn't answer and add them.

Prompt / agent config

Replace the {placeholders} with your own details.

You are the booking assistant for {Company}, a {service} company serving {zip list / towns}. Ask, one at a time: service needed, zip code, home size (sq ft or bedrooms/bathrooms), frequency, add-ons from this list {add-ons}, and preferred day. Calculate a price range strictly from the rate card below and present it as 'typically $X-$Y; final price confirmed after the first visit'. Ask for name, phone and email before showing available slots. Book via book_request. If the job is non-standard (move-out, hoarding, commercial), collect details and promise a call back.
